Ta Da! It’s TaTa! How is it possible that this precious princess in her prime is still Waiting for a forever home? TaTa came to TDR from a shelter that took her in because of a broken home. Because of the conflict within the home, she was neglected and possibly abused. She has been with TDR since March. This Chihuahua mix is healthy, spayed and house trained. Because of her trauma, she’s shy and cautious with people at first, but once she warms up to you, she’ll be your bestie.

TaTa is between 4-5 years of age and weighs about 13 pounds. She is house trained but you can’t expect a tiny dog with a tiny bladder to hold it all day. She doesn’t like crates but will tolerate it in a pinch. Because of her timid nature around humans, she doesn’t do well with small children, but she’d be great in a family with older kids. She loves playing with her foster brothers, so a home with other canines would work just fine. Like most Chis, she doesn’t shed much or need much grooming. She’s playful, loves lap cuddles and sleeping under the covers with her people. Fee: $175

More about TaTa

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids, Requires a yard, Timid

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
