I'M TINA FEY AND I'M A STAR! She’s not from Hollywood, but Tina Fey wants to be the star in your universe. This beautiful Dachshund is in very good health and is about 4 years old. She came to TDR from a home that had many dogs but very little human interaction. Because of that, it takes her a while to warm up to bipeds. Tina Fey doesn’t like to be picked up, but she is receptive to affection and gentle play. She is extremely frightened by children, but if she is given a safe home with patient and consistent care and love, she will be the perfect canine companion for a single person or a pair of empty nesters or retirees who have another dog she can hang with. She’s housetrained but not leash trained, so she needs a home with a fenced-in yard.

Tina Fey weighs about 14 pounds, is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, microchipped and heartworm negative. She peacefully coexists with her fellow canines, and in fact is more comfortable with a dog buddy. Tina Fey is a power napper and if left on her own, she will wrap herself up in a blanket like a burrito and sleep all day, so she needs humans to reach out to her and let her know she’s an important part of the family.
