Hazel Sue is a long, tall drink of sweet tea. She’s a fox terrier mix in her prime and weighs about 47 lbs. Yes, she’s a big girl but gentle as can be, even with the smallest children. Hazel Sue was adopted from a local animal shelter and surrendered to TDR one week later because someone in the family appeared to be allergic to her. She is spayed and house- crate- and leash trained.

When she first meets new humans, Hazel Sue is a little timid and shy, but once she warms up to someone, she is almost immediately loyal and even a bit protective. She is very alert and would make a good watch dog. She also gets along well with other dogs.(Cats are an unknown at this time.) Hazel Sue enjoys long walks and is a great snuggler. She’s always on the lookout for someone’s Sonic cup because she loves to chomp down on ice. Hazel Sue is only 3-4 years of age, so she has many years yet to love and be loved by a family or an individual. Fee: $175 www.tireddogrescue.com

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
