CUDDLE UP WITH THIS TEDDY BEAR. Bear is a Chihuahua mix who came to Tired Dog Rescue after his favorite person passed away. He is about 8 years-old and weighs 10 pounds. This sweet little guy is very healthy, loves to cuddle and enjoys a long walk even more. He's house-, crate- and leash trained, although he needs to go out every few hours. Bear can be left alone without being destructive and he is also content in a crate. He gets along with his fellow canines, so long as they are not aggressive toward him. Bear needs a fenced yard. Bear has no experience around cats. He does great with well-behaved children who are not rough with him. Bear is a good watch- and lap dog. He sleeps through the night, enjoys car rides, and at the fenced-in park, he actually takes himself around the walking path. He is neutered, up to date on his shots and takes a monthly heartworm preventative. Bear's always winking because he lost his eye in an argument with an opossum. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $175. Apply at tireddogrescue.org

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
