Mardi Gras, Dr. Seuss & Doggies
Several ways to participate in virtual krewe
Krewe du Pooch is a friend to TDR. This year's events are a bit different because of the pandemic, but there's still fun and prizes to be had. The costume contest is based on the Dr. Seuss classic, "Go Dog Go," and instead of an in-person event, participants will submit videos via social media. The deadline to enter is Feb. 8. The fun run/walk is also virtual. All the information you need is a click away at https://www.krewedupooch.org/. About Spencer | |

|
THE SWEETEST LITTLE GUY. He is going to be gorgeous when his hair grows back, although he is pretty handsome with a buzz cut. Spence takes some time to trust you but once he does he is THE BIGGEST cuddler ever. He has to be in the room with you at all times, and will sleep as close to you as he possibly can and you will need to wake him in the morning. If you stay in bed, he will too. He definitely needs a strict potty schedule and needs to be taken outside, if not he will potty in the house. He weighs about 9 pounds and is approximately 9 years-old. He is still a playful guy and his favorite game is running from you when he is on the bed. When you get home or go to pick him up, he gets so excited his whole body shakes with excitement. Spencer is good with other dogs and cats. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered and received a 1-year heartworm prevention injection. Fee: $175. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Apply www.tireddogrescue.org
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
