TEDDY ROOSEVELT IS A TEDDY BEAR.  Teddy Roosevelt is a sweet 12-year-old Havanese. This amiable fellow gets along with people and his fellow canines. He loves to be outside with everyone, and once he bonds with a human, he becomes their shadow. You will never be lonely with Teddy around. He weighs about 11 pounds and is in good health for a senior pup. At this time, Teddy is on drops for an eye condition. He is heartworm negative, on regular heartworm prevention, and is up to date on his vaccinations. He also recently had a dental cleaning. Teddy is a former show dog and stud, so he was neutered only recently. Because of that, he still marks but he is improving his potty training skills every day, and he does fine wearing a belly band. This little guy even likes baths and brushings. He's also crate trained and is comfortable sleeping in one at night. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $150. Apply at tireddogrescue.org

More about Teddy

Good with Dogs, Good with Adults, Requires a yard, Cratetrained, Affectionate, Even-tempered

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
