ALMOST A YEAR OLD BUT STILL ALL PUPPY. Leo is an adorable Chihuahua mix who loves to play fetch and shake his squeaky toys. He thinks all of the stuffies are his. He likes to play “tag” with the kids and cats. He is a little shy when it comes to other dogs, especially loud ones, and strangers, but this doesn’t seem to affect his curiosity. This little guy weighs 12.6 pounds, is neutered, microchipped and has had good vet care so he's off to an excellent start. Leo is doing great with house training and loves to go on long walks to smell all of the things around him. He does have a “scared bladder” and sometimes tinkles when he is scared or thinks he is in trouble. He is happy to stay in a crate while alone. This is advisable as he still has the puppy tendency of getting into trouble while left to his own devices. At the end of the day, he loves to burrow deep under the blankets and be connected with his human. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $175. Apply at tireddogrescue.org
