Bella Donna is a sweet, healthy, female Jack Russell Terrier mix, 2 y/o (just had a birthday on Jan 5th!), currently weighing 16 lbs.
Bella is cautious when meeting new people but soon opens up and is very loving. She is very affectionate, smart, likes to cuddle, wants to please you and sleeps in her own bed. She is house and crate trained. Learning to walk on a leash now. Caution: must be walked with a harness because she’s like Houdini and can break loose from her collar (startles easily when outside). Loves taking naps on the couch, looking out the window and going to the backyard to run (she’s very fast) and bathe in the sun. She’ll stand/sit by the door when she wants to go outside or be let in. She’s very quiet. Doesn’t bark, even when the neighbor’s dogs have lots to say. She has her spay appointment on Jan 26th and will get her booster shots as well. She understands “no” and is learning to sit on command; considering how smart she is, she’ll learn quickly.
Does it need to be the only dog? I don’t know.
Does it need to have another dog? I don’t think so.
Crate trained? Yes. She also goes in and out of the crate when she wants to take a nap in her own space. www.tireddogrescue.org to apply
