A LITTLE GAL WHO NEEDS A LITTLE HELP  Yara is a purebred Havanese with a lot of potential. Her previous owner was going through a lot of turmoil in her life and could no longer care for Yara. This sweet-tempered lady loves to play and gets along with other dogs. She's a bit of a barker but responds to "that's enough" when it's time to stop. TDR has no information on how she tolerates cats or small children. Yara is a bit cautious and timid around new people and situations. Even though she's already 3 years-old, Yara is not house trained or leash trained. She knows how to use a doggie door but doesn't realize it's a way to get to "the bathroom." Yara is comfortable in a crate, and should be crated when she's alone. This healthy dog needs an owner or family with time and patience to fill in the gaps in her training and development so she will be a fun, obedient pet for many years to come. Yara is scheduled to be spayed and have a dental cleaning soon. She weighs nine pounds, is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $450. Apply at tireddogrescue.org.

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
