"MY NAME IS BLUE BELL. (local adoption only) I am called Blue Bell because I am a blue and tan Dachshund. My color is just beautiful, but along with my beautiful color comes alopecia. As you can see in the photos, I do not have much hair on my back, but the really cool thing is the fur that I do have feels just like velvet and I do not shed much. You will never want to stop petting me which is fine with me. I am also super sweet and I love everyone including other dogs. My favorite thing to do is to be near you or better yet taking a nap on your lap. Since I spent my entire life outside having puppies, I am looking for someone to give me a forever home to make up for all the loving I have missed over the last five years." More about Blue Bell: 5 years-old and 15 pounds. Spayed, recent dental cleaning, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. Has begun heartworm eradication treatment which is included in her adoption fee of $275. Blue Bell must be adopted by an individual or family in the Gulfport area. Available through Tired Dog Rescue. Apply at tireddogrescue.org

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
