COURTESY POST (not in Tired Dog Rescue's care) Lucky is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. His luck wasn't the best when he was struck by a vehicle, but it turned around when a Good Samaritan found him and got him to a veterinarian. Lucky has healed up and is up to date on vaccinations. This sweet, goofy and well behaved fellow is house-, leash- and crate trained and enjoys his toys. He also gets along with other dogs but TDR has no information on how he tolerates children or cats. Lucky has tested heartworm positive but this is a treatable condition. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $100. Apply at tireddogrescue.org.

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
