Hello!!  My name is Vickie and as you can tell, I’m the cutest beagle you’ve ever seen!  I am five years old and currently a little on the heavy side.  More to love, am I right??  

I like food…a lot.  But my foster momma has been helping me learn healthy portions and that I don’t actually need a snack every five minutes (I beg to differ).  You should be able to teach me tricks fast -I will even work for my kibble!  I already learned how to sit! 

I am leash trained and really like going outside for walks, so hopefully the pounds just shed right off!  

I love people, children, other dogs, and cats.  I’m a very loving girl and just like to be around people.  I love to play and run around with other dog friends too! 

I am crate trained but it will take me a couple days to relax into a routine.  I barked in my crate for a few days when I first arrived at my foster momma’s house.  But once I realized I wasn’t being left in a crate all the time, I relaxed and learned to be quiet.  I am a hound though and might remind you via howl when it’s food time or potty time.  You’ll learn to love my singing, I promise.  I should be American Idol bound soon! 

I am a good girl outside of the crate and don’t really need one.  I’m not destructive, overall quiet, and prefer to snooze on the couch.  I am house trained, leash trained, and an expert on belly rubs.  

I would love a family that likes to take walks or has a yard for me to move around in and smell all the flowers in.  My love of food means I will probably need to keep up on my daily workouts!  I love being outside, maybe we could take a camping trip??  I’m a very good girl in the car!
