Moro update: Moro came to Tired Dog Rescue on 8/28 reported by previous owner that he was as hit by a car 7 months ago. Lakeview Animal Hospital and Resurge Veterinary Surgical Specialists and Rehabilitation have both evaluated and see no evidence of healed old injuries from a car accident. After his evaluation this morning with the Physical Therapist we are seeing the neurologist tomorrow for another evaluation as we are leaning towards a brain issue once this is completed a determination of what direction we will be able to go as far as rehabilitation if any. He was also diagnosed with Atopic dermatitisc and Demodex both are currently being treated and his skin is improving although he still has a ways to go.
Update:Moro's skin condition is slowly healing with medication and medicated baths. He gets along well in the grass better then wood floors. Loves all dogs and all people little and big. Not sure about cats. He is a happy and lovable boy. He is housebroken and is gaining weight slowly. He would do great in any home. He love to chill and take naps. His mobility will probably worsen with age due to issues with the back part of his brain he will likely not improve much with therapy. He is taking medications which help his joints and another to help his brain function better. The intellectual side of his brain (the front) works fine, he very smart and learns quickly how to adapt his movements to get where he needs to go. Prefers to be on my rugs than the heartwood floors. If interested in giving this sweet guy his forever home please contact me or Tired Dog Rescue. Apply on our website www.tireddogrescue.org

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
