I've got friends in loooooooooooooooow (said in a long beagle bray) places! Hello! My name is Garth and I'm a nine-year-old neutered male beagle. I'm heartworm negative and up to date on all my vaccinations!
I never imagined I'd be looking for a new family at this stage in my life, but this is exciting! I'm ready to meet new people and find new loves! I am good with dogs, cats, and children. However, I have been in trouble before for stealing a pancake from a baby...and finding their diapers in the trash. As long as both of those items are secured, I'm the best boy! I just really like snacks...who doesn't?! (I understand diapers are not a preferred snack for most, I like what I like.)
I move a little slower now days and I'm looking for a home where we can lounge and maybe watch some reruns of Jeopardy. I like to stay up to date on my trivia. Movie nights are also my specialty. If you need a cuddle or nap buddy - I am available at all times!
I am older and need to use the bathroom more often than I used to (the joys of aging), so I would prefer a home where someone is with me or available to let me outside every few hours. Or maybe a doggie door? I just can't hold it for long hours like I used to.
My foster mom says I'm a very mellow guy that just needs a soft place to land for my silver years. I have been on a farm and I'm good with all the farm animals too. I'm just a good ol' boy!
I walk well on the leash and love car rides. We could go on some adventures around the neighborhood...I'll let you know which trash cans have the best diapers hidden inside.
