My name is Roxy, Roxieeee, sweet baby girl, little mama or anything you want to call me. I am so laid back I don’t care what you call me just as long as you call me!! I love to be wanted and loved  on!!  Life is so great for me now because just a few short months ago I was starved, bald and left in a box outside the shelter on a VERY cold day AND I am BLIND so it was super scary however, that was the BEST day of my life as I found my way to Tired Dog Rescue. They gave me lots of good food, and medicine to help most of my hair come back (the area on my back is still growing) and most of all a TON of LOVE. I have lots of fur foster sisters and brothers and love them all.

I am a small little dachshund mix about 10lbs. I am always super happy especially at feeding time. OMG my foster mom said you can hear me screaming down the block. She just doesn’t understand how great it is to eat!!!!

I love to snuggle, kiss and to be loved on. I am about 10 years old and almost completely blind. Unfortunately, my vision cannot be repaired as I have both cataracts and glaucoma but thankfully I don’t appear to be in any pain. I run through the house, up and down the stairs, all around the yard and get on and off the bed without any help or any trouble. You should see me go!! I also take a low-cost medicine to help me not be itchy

I am potty trained, but I am older so need to go out regularly or I will have accidents. I am still very playful with some of my foster friends so I would love another small pup to play with. I love my people so much so I stay near them and can sometimes get under their feet so please no homes with elderly or children that might get tripped up by me. Also because I can scream really loudly prob best not to live in an apartment.

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
