|
Mya is a six-month-old white female Maltipoo. Her date of birth is 11/2/23. She weighs 7.3 lbs. The vet says she is in great shape; all tests were clear. He says she is bright, alert, and active.
She has an application to register with Continental Kennel Club and all copies of her vet records since her original adoption. Her first mommy sent her with all kinds of goodies: a bed, clothes, coats, leashes, toys, and a blanket, so she doesn't travel light. She may have outgrown some things.
She is a happy-go-lucky, sweet, and very active puppy. She gets along great with her foster siblings. She is not sure about cats because she has never been close to one, but she has barked at them from a distance. She has learned to walk on a leash with her foster siblings and loves being outside. She thinks she would love a backyard so she could run and play and get rid of her puppy energy. She is not sure about children because she has not been around them at her foster mom's. She has met lots of other people, and she gets excited to see them and get petted. She loves all people, both male and female.
She is learning to go potty outside and is pee-pee pad trained. She is still a puppy and does have accidents. She thinks she is a smart girl and will learn quickly, so please have patience with her. She loves playing with her foster siblings, running, and tussling about. Sometimes, they get a little rough, but she can stand her ground. She loves squeaky toys and rib bones or antlers. She likes to chew anything hard because she is still teething a bit.
She will sit by you for a while, but she likes to nap in her bed or by herself on another sofa or chair. She can entertain herself with her squeaky toys, bones, or other cloth items. She hasn't chewed any shoes, but she may carry them around. She loves socks and will carry them from room to room. She will bark at you for your attention. Not a lot, but she will bark at strange noises and dogs barking on TV. Her foster mom says "quiet," and she will usually stop. She loves playing with her foster siblings and will yip at them while playing. She is a very active girl and has lots of energy to release. She can be mischievous and get into things that she shouldn't, like cell phone cords and laptop charger cords. She likes to pick up things, and her foster mom tells her to drop it, and she usually does. She loves treats, and she has learned to sit most of the time. She gets so excited and will dance around on her hind legs. If something intrigues her, she will stand up like a meerkat and walk around. She will follow you everywhere, and when you leave, she may try to sneak by you because she wants to be around you. She has learned to stay when her foster mom leaves for work. She loves riding in the car. She loves to sleep with her foster mom at night, and once she gets settled, she will sleep through the night. She has been crate trained with her sister before, but she's not sure how she would react without her.
She can't wait to meet her new family and hopes they have patience with her. She is very smart and will learn as she grows up. To apply for adoption go to www.tireddogrescue.org.
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
