At just 8 pounds, Chica may be tiny, but her devotion to the people she loves is anything but small. This 10-year-old brindle Chihuahua is looking for a calm, adult home where she can truly relax, feel secure, and be someone’s cherished companion.

Chica isn’t one to demand attention, but once she trusts you, she becomes a sweet, affectionate little shadow. She loves quiet moments, cozy laps, and following her favorite human from room to room. Her loyalty runs deep, and she bonds best when she feels understood and respected.

Because of her sensitive nature, Chica thrives in a peaceful environment with predictable routines and gentle handling. She could potentially live with another calm, respectful dog who understands and responds to her cues, but she does need her personal space honored. Small children are not a good fit, as Chica does not enjoy sudden movements or having her space invaded.

Medical Notes:

Chica has manageable skin sensitivities, including allergic dermatitis and pododermatitis, which are well controlled with routine care and a little extra TLC.
