Thrown from a moving car. Pregnant. Alone.

That’s how sweet little Veda’s story began — but it’s  not  how it ends.

Thanks to a hero who witnessed the cruelty and stepped in, this brave 2-year-old Miniature Pinscher/Terrier mix was rescued and shown kindness for the first time in who knows how long. Since then, Veda has amazed us all with her resilience, her love for people, and her unstoppable spirit.

Veda is a petite 9.7 lbs, house and leash trained, great with kids, and plays beautifully with the other dogs in her foster home. She’s even been friendly toward the cat! She’s full of personality — sweet, loving, and  very  vocal (apartment life probably isn’t her style). She’s the kind of girl who lets you know what’s on her mind, and she’ll fill your home with laughter and love.

She’s been through more than any dog should, and yet she still chooses love. Veda is scheduled to be spayed and will be heartworm negative. Now, she’s ready for her forever family.

We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
