Toto is not in Kansas anymore. No, Toto is in the care of Tired Dog Rescue with a foster home and has transitioned from a very scared and timid dog to a very loving and friendly addition to his temporary home. He was a very well-kept dog, who had to leave his previous home due to the health of his human. He was shifted from family member to family member and in the process became very confused and scared. That is now in his past.

He is a handsome boy, well groomed, and active, playing with his two foster sisters and loving his foster humans. He does long for a permanent home, at which we feel he will be able to adapt just as fast as he adapted to his current foster home. His is in the process of learning to use a pet door with his foster sisters teaching him. He is house trained now with supervision, but as soon as he masters the pet door, he will go out when he wants.

He is very healthy, up to date on all his vacs, and a loving lap dog to his foster dad. He would love to be in a home with another dog or two. He does play with his two foster sisters. He has adapted to a change in diet and eats dry dog food.

We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
